Reliability Test Engineer - Hydraulics (f/m/div.)

Your contribution to something big:
As a Reliability Test Engineer for Hydraulics, you will play a key role in ensuring the robustness and performance of hydraulic components through structured testing, failure analysis, and close collaboration with development teams. You will be actively involved in test definition, execution, and problem-solving within the testing environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Actively participate in the creation, review, and continuous improvement of reliability test procedures for hydraulic components.
- Take ownership of test-related problem-solving and in-depth product failure analysis within the laboratory area.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and propose technical corrective actions.
- Communicate findings and analytical reports clearly to cross-functional development teams to support decision-making and product optimization.
- Collaborate as an active team member in problem-solving activities, ensuring alignment between the testing environment and product development.
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Previous project experience in technical product development or laboratory testing environments is highly valued.
- Know-how:
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, thermodynamics, and material science, including the assembly and development of test setups.
- Knowledge of component design, statistical methods, and reliability testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with lab-environment IT tools such as Matlab or LabView is a strong plus.
- Languages: Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Working Style and Methods: Results-oriented and proactive with a strong capacity for critical thinking, taking initiative, and structured problem-solving.
- Personality: Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
