Reblade is a Danish deep-tech startup founded in 2020, developing autonomous drone systems
for wind turbine blade repair. We combine robotics, UAV technology, computer vision,
advanced sensors, and software to automate one of the most challenging maintenance tasks in the
renewable energy industry.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of highly skilled engineers within robotics, software,
electronics, mechanical engineering, and computer vision. We have several PhDs, post-docs, and
a professor on the team, and our international culture is built around innovation, technical
excellence, and collaboration.

The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Drone Technician to join our hardware team in Denmark.
You will play a key role in preparing, assembling, maintaining, and testing our UAV systems,
ensuring they are ready for laboratory development, field testing, and customer demonstrations.
Working closely with software, electronics, and mechanical engineers, you will help ensure our
systems operate safely and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, and maintain UAV systems and payloads.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of drones and supporting
equipment.
- Prepare drones and equipment for laboratory testing, field deployments, and customer
demonstrations.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Manage batteries, charging systems, spare parts, tools, and workshop inventory.
- Support flight testing and operational deployments.
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and technical findings.• Contribute to the continuous improvement of assembly, maintenance, and testing
procedures.
Requirements
Essential
- Technical education within electronics, mechanics, aviation, mechatronics, or a related
technical field.
- Hands-on experience assembling and maintaining UAVs or similar electromechanical
systems.
- Experience with commercial or industrial UAV operations.
- Minimum 100 documented flight hours operating medium or large UAVs.
- Valid EU Remote Pilot Certificates A1/A3 and A2.
- Strong troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical documentation and follow assembly procedures.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused approach.
- Good English communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Denmark.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ArduPilot or similar flight control systems.
- Experience supporting UAV testing and customer demonstrations.
- Experience working in robotics, prototype development, or R&D environments.
