Where you'll be
You will be based in Wroclaw, Poland , at our Supply Chain Center, which is responsible for material and production planning, aftermarket operations, supply chain market support, product launches, and supply chain digitalization and optimization initiatives.
About the role
As a Material Planning Specialist , you will play a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted availability of components for production while maintaining optimal inventory levels and strong supplier relationships. By applying best practices in supply chain management, you will contribute to achieving key business objectives related to material availability, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and product quality.
In detail, you will
Manage inventory levels by monitoring component availability and maintaining the right balance between minimizing inventory costs and ensuring uninterrupted production. You will also oversee the management of obsolete and slow-moving materials, while coordinating the introduction of new components.
Support production planning by providing accurate information on material availability, supplier capacity, and potential supply risks that could impact production schedules.
Manage purchase orders for production materials, ensuring orders are placed accurately and on time, while monitoring fulfillment and resolving any discrepancies.
Coordinate supply activities to ensure materials are delivered in the right quantity, to the right place, and at the right time. You will proactively address delivery delays or supply issues and collaborate closely with suppliers, external warehouses, and logistics providers.
Drive process improvements across supply and inventory management by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve material flow, and shorten lead times.
Analyze data and prepare reports related to inventory, supply performance, costs, and production risks. Your insights will support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, Procurement, and Controlling teams to ensure alignment and consistency across the supply chain.
Prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and balancing operational requirements with changing business needs.
Solve problems proactively by addressing material shortages, delivery disruptions, production plan changes, and component quality issues, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
Qualifications and experience
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, material planning, or a related area.
Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office applications.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Skills and competencies

Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers across different regions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
