The role Within Cefetra, you will work closely with the Digital & Technology team and colleagues across different departments who are increasingly experimenting with AI-powered tools to improve their daily work. Some of these prototypes are already showing real value and are ready to be developed further. As Working Student Web App Development , you will help turn these ideas into secure, reliable and user-friendly business applications. You, together with colleagues from the business, making sure promising prototypes become practical tools that can be used across the organisation. Your main responsibilities will include:

Develop locally built AI and web app prototypes into maintainable business applications;

Support with hosting, deployment, access management and permissions;

Connect applications to relevant data sources, such as APIs, databases and simple data pipelines;

Work together with colleagues from different departments to understand their needs and translate them into practical solutions;

Contribute to applications that can quickly create visible impact within the organisation.

Who are you? You are currently studying computer science, software engineering, data, or a related field, and you already have some hands-on experience with building applications. You are curious, practical and eager to learn, but also able to take ownership and work independently on smaller projects. Because you will work closely with colleagues from the business, clear communication is just as important as your technical skills.

Experience with app development and web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript;

Familiarity with a modern framework, such as React, is a plus;

Basic knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment; experience with Azure and/or Docker is a strong advantage;

Interest in connecting applications to APIs, databases and other data sources;

Awareness of authentication, permissions and secure access; experience with Microsoft Entra or SSO is welcome;

Comfortable working with Git and writing code that others can understand and maintain;

A structured and proactive way of working, with the ability to explain technical topics in a clear and practical way;

Available for at least 20 hours per week for a period of 6 months, with the possibility to extend;

Comfortable working in English.
