Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | 2026-2027 School Year

Location: Morris, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
School Year: August 6, 2026 (In-Service) – Approximately May 27, 2027

Position Details

  • Full-time, onsite position
  • School year begins August 6, 2026 with district in-service
  • School year ends approximately May 27, 2027
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (7.5-hour workday)
  • Provide services across four school buildings
  • Consistent weekday schedule with evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks off

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and other related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Support students in developing the communication skills needed for academic, social, and functional success
  • This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to work with students across four school buildings while collaborating with educators, administrators, and related service providers to help students achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Current Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • School-based experience is preferred but not required
