As part of the Americas Marketing team, you’ll help bring that mission to life by creating meaningful experiences that connect consumers with our brand through our specialty retail partners.

The Specialty Channel Marketing Manager leads the marketing strategy and execution for Fjällräven’s North American specialty channel across the United States and Canada. Working alongside the Sales team, you’ll develop marketing programs that strengthen retailer relationships, elevate the consumer experience, increase brand visibility, and drive sell-through.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Specialty Channel Marketing Manager, you’ll help shape how consumers discover Fjällräven through specialty retailers across North America. By building thoughtful marketing programs and meaningful retail partnerships, you’ll strengthen our presence in stores, online, and at events where people begin their next adventure.

Your work will help ensure our wholesale partners have the tools, experiences, and support they need to introduce more people to the Fjällräven brand while driving sales at specialty retailers.

Specialty Channel Strategy

Own the seasonal marketing strategy for the Specialty channel across the United States and Canada

Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to align marketing investments with business opportunities

Translate national brand campaigns into compelling trade marketing programs

Identify new opportunities to grow the channel, strengthen brand visibility, and drive sell-through

Support marketing needs for other Fenix Outdoor brands, including Devold and Hanwag

Retail Partner Marketing

Serve as the primary marketing contact for specialty retail partners, sales representative agencies, and internal Sales partners

Build strong, proactive communication channels with specialty retail partners

Collaborate on co-marketing initiatives, ecommerce content, promotional campaigns, employee education, and sales contest programs

Support wholesale partners with the tools, assets, and experiences they need to represent Fjällräven with confidence and care

Campaigns, Events & Activations

Lead seasonal campaign execution across the Specialty channel, including digital activations, merchandising updates, product launches, retail fixtures, and in-store experiences

Provide hands-on support to bring events, trade marketing, and brand activations to life

Manage and coordinate seasonal B2B trade shows, sales meetings, and retail activations

Help create exceptional brand experiences that reflect Fjällräven’s values and deepen consumer connection

Operations, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Manage the wholesale marketing calendar and keep key partners aligned on timelines, deliverables, and priorities

Coordinate marketing assets, sample programs, and related channel support materials

Analyze and report on specialty retail partner marketing activations

Use performance data and partner insights to inform future decisions

Improve processes that help the team support retail partners more effectively season after season

WHAT YOU BRING

You’re someone who enjoys building relationships just as much as building marketing plans. You thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution and enjoy collaborating with Sales, Brand, Creative, and retail partners to bring great ideas to life.

You build trust through clear communication, thoughtful planning, and reliable execution. You’re naturally curious and proactive, often spotting opportunities before they’re requested. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities without losing sight of the details, and you use data and insights to continuously improve your work.

You bring

3+ years of experience in wholesale, trade, retail, or brand marketing

Experience partnering closely with sales organizations

Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution

Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills

An analytical mindset, with the ability to use performance data to inform decisions

Comfort balancing multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

A relationship-centered approach to working with internal teams, sales partners, and external retail partners

A willingness to support both strategic planning and hands-on execution, from presenting a seasonal plan to helping bring a trade show booth to life

Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred, but not required

Experience in the outdoor, apparel, or consumer products industry

Experience supporting specialty retail, wholesale, or independent retail partners

Familiarity with trade shows, sales meetings, retail activations, or in-store marketing programs

Passion for the outdoors, sustainability, and helping more people feel at home in nature

Success in this role is measured by more than delivering projects on time.

You’ve become a trusted partner to the Specialty Sales team and our retail partners. Marketing programs consistently launch with excellence, and your work contributes to stronger consumer engagement, improved retail partner support, and increased sell-through.

You’ve introduced new ideas that help grow the Specialty business while also improving the processes that make the team more efficient season after season.
