Senior Compliance SME - Financial Products (6 months max term contract)
Job description
We’re looking for a Senior Compliance SME to join our Group Risk & Compliance division on a 6 months Max Term Contract and take ownership to support regulatory activities related to financial products as part of an enterprise migration project.
In this role, you’ll lead the regulatory elements of the design, oversight and execution of transitioning financial products as part of a project, as well as ensuring the effective integration of end-to-end compliance and regulatory practices into the bank.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Identification, impact assessment and implementation oversight
- Being an active participant in the project, providing clear guidance and requirements to the project members
- Supporting engagement with clients
- Partnering with business units to embed changes compliance into processes, policies and day-to-day operations
- Providing training and advisory support
You are a highly experienced compliance professional with deep expertise in financial services regulation and a passion for building strong, effective compliance frameworks.
You thrive in complex environments, are comfortable working autonomously and bring strong judgement and influence to senior stakeholders.
You’ll also bring:
- Extensive experience in compliance within banking or financial services
- Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks with required knowledge of ASIC financial services requirements
- Experience leading regulatory and project changes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation
- Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
