Job description

As a Content Marketing Specialist at Vention…

You will play a key role in evolving and strengthening Vention’s brand presence, thought leadership, and demand generation across the manufacturing and industrial automation ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for a writer who enjoys learning about robotics, machine automation, and industrial software while developing a broad portfolio of B2B content formats - from technical blogs and whitepapers to campaign emails, web content, and event materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute the content roadmap in support of marketing initiatives, including product launches, campaigns, and new market development.
  • Write clear, engaging content that explains industrial automation technologies and their business impact.
  • Produce a wide range of content including blogs, web and landing page copy, email campaigns, whitepapers, eBooks, buyer’s guides, case studies, webinar decks, and event collateral.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, compelling narratives for engineers, manufacturing professionals, and business decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, engineering, sales, and demand generation teams to develop accurate, high-impact content.
  • Support campaign launches by creating supporting assets across channels including web, email, social media, and events.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging guidelines, and audience needs.
  • Maintain and optimize existing content to improve engagement, SEO performance, and conversion.
  • Contribute to the content calendar and support social media initiatives, including community engagement and content promotion.
  • Maintain content assets in the CMS and track content performance metrics to inform future improvements.
  • Stay current on trends in manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation, and AI-driven systems.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for skills, intellect, and experiences that will help you succeed in this role but we also know that various profiles (not only the one described below) could be successful. If you’re excited about what you read and think you’d be a great fit, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every single qualification.

You’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, technical writing, or a related field
  • Bilingual, English and French
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to translate technical or product-focused topics into clear, engaging content
  • Experience writing digital marketing content such as blogs, emails, or website copy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, or B2B technology
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content performance metrics
  • Experience collaborating with designers to produce visual or infographic content
  • Ability to identify content opportunities and execute them independently
