CPS Sr. Chemical Engineer

Perform refinery/petrochemical process design and configuration work to produce Connected Performance Services (CPS) offerings, which currently include the Process Reliability Advisor (PRA) and Process Optimization Advisor (POA) software solutions. Work in an Agile team environment to develop flowsheets, CPS PFDs, configuration files, CPS dashboards and tools. Support CPS projects and lead development efforts that will enhance CPS solutions and project execution. Interface with Engineering, Tech Service, HPS, CPS Development and R&D to ensure that projects proceed on schedule as planned. Participate in customer site meetings including kick-off as well as CPS deployments. Create supporting quality infrastructure and template process technology artifacts and tools to support improved project execution. Create customized engineering CPS solutions for customer projects. Develop and drive CPS innovation and supporting work process to improve industrial operations through solution content. Sell CPS solution value to our customer and drive customer VOC for improved solutions. Must have the ability to travel up to 10% both domestic/international.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of experience in a technical service, engineering, process operations, or design engineering role within the refining, petrochemical, or gas processing industry
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering a plus!
- Extensive industry experience within refining, petrochemical or gas processing
- Significant experience in process engineering including the use of flow sheeting software (UniSim)
- Some experience in making UniSim/Aspen flowsheet and the validation procedure
- Some knowledge of Plant Monitoring Services/ IIoT applications in process plant
- Some experience in leading projects, including planning, organizer, monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on delivering results and identifying alternative solutions
- Some experience checking out, starting up, and operating refining and petrochemical process units.
- Some knowledge of UOP Technologies
- Some experience working with distributed, global project teams
- Strong presentation skills including MS PowerPoint, Leading Meetings, Customer Presentations
