Description
Assistant Manager - Thoracic Transplant
The Assistant Manager supports operational, clinical, and administrative oversight of Heart and Lung Transplant, Advanced Disease Management, and VAD programs, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and program growth.
What you will do
- Supports Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, and VAD programs
- Assists with management of clinical and administrative staff
- Coordinates across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Contributes to compliance and program development
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee daily operations and patient flow
- Support transplant and VAD care pathways
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams
- Assist with staff supervision and development
- Ensure compliance with UNOS, CMS, Joint Commission
- Support program growth and quality initiatives
- Participate in data tracking and reporting
What you will need
- Current RN License (Illinois)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years' experience in transplant, advanced disease, or critical care
Preferred Qualifications
- Heart and/or Lung Transplant experience
- VAD experience
- Advanced disease management experience
- Preferred management or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of UNOS, CMS, Joint Commission
- Master’s degree preferred
Compensation
Salary Range: $40.46 - 64.74 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
