We’re looking for a collaborative and creative Marketing Adviser to join our team and help showcase the exciting work happening across our faculty. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment where your ideas and relationship-building skills will make a real impact.

In this varied role, you’ll work closely with academic and professional staff to deliver marketing and recruitment campaigns that connect with diverse audiences. From campaign planning and social media strategy to promotional content and events.

Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities (not limited too):

  • Develop and deliver engaging marketing campaigns across digital, print and social media channels
  • Create compelling briefs and work alongside creative and advertising partners
  • Support the promotion of programmes, events and faculty initiatives
  • Help shape social media strategy and grow audience engagement
  • Coordinate photography, video and promotional content projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the University to ensure messaging is clear, consistent and impactful
  • Contribute fresh ideas and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a full‑time (37.5 hrs p/w), 6-month fixed-term secondment position

The remuneration range is $73,400 - $79,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

You’re a confident communicator who enjoys working with a wide range of people and turning complex information into clear, engaging content. You bring creativity, organisation and strong relationship management skills, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

You may have:

  • Experience across marketing, communications, advertising or campaign delivery
  • Exposure to digital marketing, social media and content creation
  • Experience working with agencies or external suppliers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience within a tertiary, public sector or large complex organisation would be an advantage
