Senior / Lead Data Analyst

📍 Hybrid | Warsaw 📄 Contract: B2B 💰 Rate

• Senior: up to 200 PLN/h + VAT
• Lead: up to 250 PLN/h + VAT

For our client from the logistics sector , we are looking for a Senior/Lead Data Analyst who brings precision, structure, and strong analytical thinking to how data is understood, aligned, and connected across an enterprise data platform.

In this role, you will take ownership of how business concepts, source data, and platform models are mapped end-to-end, ensuring consistency, reuse, and clarity across domains and data products. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analysts to translate complex data landscapes into clear insights that support scalable data products and reliable downstream use.

This position is ideal for a hands-on specialist who raises the bar on data analysis quality, documentation, and collaboration while thriving in a fast-paced and complex environment where priorities evolve.

Key Responsibilities

• Support squads in complex data analysis and stakeholder-related challenges, helping resolve ambiguities in source data, definitions, and ownership.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, strengthening collaboration and improving ways of working across data and engineering functions.
• Validate and challenge data requirements and mappings to ensure alignment with enterprise data platform objectives, data mesh principles, and overall business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, information architects, business analysts, subject matter experts, product owners, and squad leads to ensure end-to-end coherence, semantic consistency, and data quality.
• Perform in-depth data profiling and analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
• Develop and execute data validation and verification processes to improve data integrity and quality.
• Create detailed reports, documentation, and visualizations that communicate profiling results and business insights.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in roles such as Mapping Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar senior positions
• Strong experience working in agile delivery environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or Spotify-inspired models .
• Proven ability to engage both business and data stakeholders to capture business definitions, source data semantics, and transformation logic, and translate them into actionable insights.
• Experience working closely with data engineers, solution architects, information architects, and product owners in data platform or analytics environments.
• Solid understanding of:
• Data platforms
• Data warehousing and lakehouse concepts
• Business Intelligence solutions
• Data transformation patterns
• Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Databricks or similar).
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks , data governance, data cleansing, and master data management.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure is a plus.
• Experience in software development is an advantage.
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or transport domains is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent written and spoken English .
