Master Scheduler I
Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) under guidance.
- Support multi-site master planning activities, ensuring alignment of schedules, materials, and priorities across location.
- Analyze demand forecasts and customer orders to support planning decisions.
- Monitor schedule adherence and escalate risks or gaps.
- Coordinate with production and procurement to ensure material availability.
- Track and report KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory levels, etc.).
- Support S&OP/S&OE processes through data preparation and analysis.
- Assist with inventory management, including safety stock and excess reduction.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote collaboration, alignment, and problem-solving by identifying priorities, flagging obstacles and impacts, supporting countermeasures, and following up on progress.
Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing/supply planning or 4-year degree in Supply Chain management, or related field with 2+ years of planning experience.
- Experience using production planning methods and workflows.
- Exposure to master production scheduling and level loading concepts.
- Experience supporting inventory control methods and reporting metrics.
- Ability to perform basic what-if analysis.
- Ability to review multiple data points to draw conclusions and support decisions.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP/S&OP/S&OE systems and planning processes.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and spreadsheet skills.
- Strong sense of urgency, responsiveness, and self-motivation.
- Ability to think logically and communicate clearly.
- Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Physical Requirements
