Responsibilities

Ready to lead the team that turns complex benefit designs into flawlessly configured plans?

Why This Role Matters

Every benefit plan Personify Health administers starts with someone building it right — and that work lives here. The Plan Building team is responsible for translating client benefit designs into accurate, compliant configurations for new groups, renewals, and mid-year changes, and the quality of that work flows directly into claims accuracy, client satisfaction, and operational performance. As Supervisor, you're the person who keeps that engine running — developing your team, catching issues before they become problems, and driving the process improvements that make the whole operation more efficient. When plan builds are accurate and on time, everything downstream works the way it should.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Lead and develop a team of Plan Building Coordinators and Specialists: Own the full employee lifecycle for your team — hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, recognition, and retention — in close partnership with your manager.
  • Own quality assurance across completed plan builds: Conduct QA reviews to ensure benefit configurations are accurate, compliant, and aligned with client intent before they go live.
  • Manage daily claim configuration queues: Monitor and prioritize workflow across the team to keep configurations moving on time and within service standards.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on plan-building processes: Troubleshoot complex configuration issues, answer escalated questions, and provide guidance that keeps the team unblocked and moving forward.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives: Lead or support efforts to improve plan building quality, efficiency, and consistency — identifying gaps, standardizing procedures, and implementing solutions.
  • Build and maintain policies and procedures: Support the development and documentation of Plan Building standards that keep the team aligned and audit-ready.
