Position Overview Healthy Teeth Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant with experience in both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. This position will support providers at multiple practice locations, so flexibility and reliable transportation are essential. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to represent the practice both inside and outside the office through community outreach and marketing events. Responsibilities Assist pediatric dentists and orthodontists during a variety of clinical procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper sterilization protocols. Take digital radiographs and assist with patient records. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions. Assist with orthodontic procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, impressions or digital scans, retainer delivery, and other orthodontic duties as permitted by state regulations. Maintain inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked. Deliver exceptional patient care while creating a welcoming experience for children and their families. Travel between assigned practice locations as needed. Participate in community outreach and marketing events to help promote the practice and build relationships within the community. Qualifications Previous Dental Assisting experience required. Orthodontic assisting experience required. Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude with a team-first mindset. Reliable transportation and willingness to commute between multiple office locations. Current certifications required by state regulations (X-Ray, CDA/RDA, etc., if applicable). Compensation Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
