In addition to maintaining critical transportation infrastructure, Street Maintenance supports approximately 100 community events each year and utilizes innovative maintenance techniques and modern equipment to deliver exceptional service to residents. Fishers Department of Public Works is the only municipal public works department in Indiana accredited by the American Public Works Association (APWA), demonstrating a commitment to nationally recognized best management practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
