Job Summary Our client, a technology-driven company, is seeking to hire a Senior Sponsorship Lead to drive strategic sponsorship partnerships for conferences and key initiatives across Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of engaging C-level executives, securing high-value corporate sponsorships, and building long-term relationships with local and international organizations. Candidates with experience in technology sales, enterprise sales, B2B partnerships, or corporate sponsorships are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sponsorship strategies to secure funding and strategic partnerships for conferences and events. Identify, engage, and build relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers across Africa and international markets. Prospect and generate new sponsorship opportunities using CRM tools, LinkedIn, referrals, and other sales channels. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective sponsors and strategic partners. Lead sponsorship negotiations, prepare proposals, and close partnership agreements. Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling sponsorship packages aligned with partner objectives. Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and industry engagements to expand its corporate network. Track sponsorship performance, prepare pipeline reports, and consistently achieve partnership targets. Requirements Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, business development, partnerships, or sponsorship acquisition. Proven experience engaging and selling to C-level executives and senior corporate stakeholders. Demonstrated success in securing corporate sponsorships or enterprise partnerships across multiple industries. Experience selling technology solutions, enterprise services, consulting services, or corporate partnerships is highly desirable. Strong understanding of pipeline management, lead generation, and CRM tools. Excellent negotiation, presentation, relationship management, and communication skills. Experience working across African markets or with multinational organizations is a strong advantage.
