Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦400,000 Net Monthly

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Digital Marketing & Content Lead to drive the organization's digital presence, brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation.

The successful candidate will develop and execute innovative digital marketing strategies, create compelling content, manage social media platforms, oversee brand communications, and leverage data-driven insights to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

This role requires a highly creative marketing professional with strong storytelling abilities, excellent content creation skills, and hands-on experience managing digital campaigns across multiple online channels.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel digital campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives across digital platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Develop annual and quarterly digital marketing plans.

Content Strategy & Brand Storytelling

  • Develop and execute content strategies across social media, websites, blogs, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
  • Create engaging, compelling, and high-quality written, visual, and video content.
  • Lead storytelling initiatives that strengthen brand identity and customer engagement.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Manage content calendars and publishing schedules.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and manage the organization's presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other relevant digital platforms.
  • Grow online communities through engaging and interactive content.
  • Monitor social media performance and audience engagement metrics.
  • Respond professionally to customer enquiries, comments, and online conversations.
  • Identify emerging digital trends and recommend innovative engagement strategies.

Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute paid digital advertising campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Manage SEO and SEM initiatives to improve online visibility and website traffic.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and marketing automation initiatives.
  • Optimize campaigns through A/B testing and performance analytics.

Website & SEO Management

  • Manage website updates and content optimization.
  • Improve search engine rankings using SEO best practices.
  • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and related tools.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance user experience and conversion rates.

Content Production & Creative Management

  • Coordinate the production of graphics, videos, photography, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and external creative partners.
  • Ensure all creative outputs align with brand standards and campaign objectives.

Brand Management

  • Strengthen brand positioning across all communication channels.
  • Maintain consistency in visual identity and messaging.
  • Support product launches, promotional campaigns, corporate events, and brand activations.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor digital marketing KPIs and prepare periodic performance reports.
  • Track website analytics, campaign performance, audience engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Measure ROI across all digital marketing initiatives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Support product launches and promotional initiatives.
  • Coordinate marketing activities with external agencies, media partners, and vendors.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO, Meta Blueprint, or related fields will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Digital Marketing, Brand Communications, Content Strategy, or Social Media Management.
  • Proven experience executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing social media communities and growing online engagement.
  • Experience within publishing, media, creative, lifestyle, or related industries is an advantage.
