Position Highlights
The Marketing Coordinator coordinates assigned marketing activities, campaigns and events (includes advertising, promotions, website and social media content, etc.) from concept inception to completion for two business units (Student Unions and Parking & Transportation). This position provides the expertise to recommend the marketing media, activity, and/or program best suited to accomplish the intended outcomes.
Responsible for all marketing communications, the Marketing Coordinator oversees the development, production, and dissemination of marketing collateral to internal and external constituents, and manages relevant communication efforts and interactions with various media outlets as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates assigned marketing activities (i.e. advertising, promotions, website and social media content, etc.), plans and executes marketing campaigns and events in order to accomplish set goals and outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients to develop marketing content materials in print, digital and web formats.
- Responsible for developing targeted marketing strategies to effectively deliver marketing messages that promote and showcase the client and its programs.
- Monitor and oversee client communications and the development, production and dissemination of marketing collateral to clients.
- Assist in identifying publicity opportunities through appropriate channels (i.e. UA communications, Daily Wildcat, colleges and unit newsletters, etc.).
- Coordinate communication efforts with various media outlets when appropriate.
- Analyze and synthesize data to evaluate the effectiveness of each marketing effort or campaign, and use data to develop actions to improve future marketing campaign performance.
- Consult with clients to help identify strategies to raise brand awareness, develop business opportunities and generate revenue.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of marketing principles, industry practices, techniques and standards.
- Knowledge in Mac-based software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, and Acrobat.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office software such as PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge in digital and print production knowledge, including processing and editing using digital editing systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning through professional level experience required.
- 1 year of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
