Position Summary
Arclin is seeking an experienced EHS Nurse (Occupational Health Nurse) to support our Spruance manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in promoting employee health, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance for a population of approximately 400-500 employees .
This is not a traditional hospital nursing role. We are seeking a nurse with experience in Occupational Health , Employee Health Services , Industrial Nursing , Case Management , and/or Manufacturing Operations Support .
Working closely with site leadership, Human Resources, Safety, Operations, and an existing EHS Nurse, this individual will manage employee health programs, administer medical surveillance, coordinate return-to-work efforts, respond to workplace injuries and illnesses, and support overall employee wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite Occupational Health Services for a manufacturing workforce
- Conduct medical surveillance programs , health assessments , and annual medical examinations
- Manage work-related injuries and illnesses , including treatment, documentation, and follow-up care
- Coordinate and facilitate Return-to-Work Programs and workplace accommodations
- Perform Occupational Case Management for occupational and non-occupational medical conditions
- Support Workers' Compensation processes and collaborate with external healthcare providers
- Conduct fitness-for-duty evaluations
- Administer and manage drug and alcohol testing programs
- Perform hearing conservation testing , spirometry testing , vision screening, and other occupational health assessments
- Provide immunizations, phlebotomy, and preventive health services as appropriate
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality
- Partner with HR, Safety, Operations, and Leadership Teams on employee health matters
- Support site Emergency Response activities and participate on the Emergency Response Team
- Ensure compliance with OSHA , ADA , FMLA , DOT , and other applicable regulations
- Assist in identifying workplace health risks and implementing preventative health initiatives
- Promote employee wellness, health education, and injury prevention programs
- Participate in corporate health, safety, and wellness initiatives
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred
- Occupational Health , Employee Health , Industrial Nursing , or related clinical experience
- Experience managing case loads , employee health programs , and return-to-work processes
- Experience supporting employee populations within manufacturing , industrial , chemical , production , or similar environments
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation , OSHA , ADA , and FMLA
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, HR, Safety, and external healthcare providers
- Basic Life Support ( BLS ) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse
- Experience supporting a workforce of 300+ employees
- Manufacturing, chemical plant, refinery, industrial, or production facility experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Urine Drug Screen Collection Certification
- Breath Alcohol Testing Certification
- Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist
- NIOSH Spirometry Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Experience with Emergency Response Programs
- Experience managing Workers' Compensation Claims
- Experience with Medical Surveillance Programs
