What We Offer

Clinical Care Partner (CCP) – Pediatrics

Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Department: Pediatrics

Full‑Time | Mon-Fri 8am-5pm; One Saturday morning rotation every 6–8 weeks.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Coordinates and assists the provider and nursing to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. Provides and documents clinical care and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/APP or physician. While CNA I and CNA II can work under the license of a physician or APP, they must work a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months directly supervised by an RN employed at the clinic, per the North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements for licensure, or make arrangements for them to complete this supervision at a sister NHMG clinic location.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and room pediatric patients for appointments.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs.
  • Assist with vision and hearing screenings.
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
  • Follow infection prevention and patient safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

What We're Looking For

Education: High School or GED requiared.

Experience

  • Two years preferred. Acute experience for CNA 1.
  • One year preferred - CNA2 or EMT
  • One year preferred - Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year.

Licensure/Certification: (required)

  • NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR
  • NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR
  • EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR
  • One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR
  • Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year

Additional Skills/Requirements (required)

  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
