Software Developer Intern

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Digital Fulfilment team, end users, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the successful execution of assigned projects and initiatives.
• Provide technical support for the Calibration Management System (CMS), including issue investigation, troubleshooting, testing, and software defect resolution.
• Assist in the development, enhancement, and validation of new system features based on business and user requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of data analytics and reporting solutions to generate operational insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Contribute to process digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, reports, presentations, and project summaries to support knowledge sharing and project governance.
• Present project outcomes, findings, and recommendations to team members and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development principles, including programming, debugging, testing, and application development.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, or equivalent.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, database concepts, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with modern technologies and emerging trends such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Analytics, Computer Vision, and Cloud Computing is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently when required, and deliver quality results within established timelines.
