Summary The Human Resources Administrator I supports the Security Strategic Business Unit's HR operations by coordinating key administrative processes, maintaining accurate employee data, and ensuring timely and compliant execution of HR activities. This role contributes to a positive and efficient employee experience by proactively tracking personnel actions, providing responsive follow-up, and supporting onboarding and workforce transitions. The position plays an important role in supporting business operations by promoting compliance with company policies and applicable regulations while maintaining the integrity of employee records and HR systems. Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do: Coordinate new hire onboarding activities by reviewing and processing employment documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance prior to submission to Corporate HR for final approval. Support workforce transitions, including onboarding employees to new or existing contracts and remote site operations, ensuring alignment with contractual and organizational requirements. Review onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness, providing guidance to site teams and resolving routine issues to ensure timely and compliant processing. Partner with site managers and operational leadership to plan and facilitate onboarding activities, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience. Administer employee record updates, including changes to job assignments, status, and related employment data, ensuring data integrity across HR systems. Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers by responding to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, applying sound judgment and escalating complex issues as appropriate. Compile, maintain, and analyze HR-related data to support internal reporting requirements and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance HR processes, systems, and operational efficiency. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information and organizational data. Demonstrate flexibility to support operational needs, including travel and occasional non-standard work hours (e.g., evenings, weekends, or holidays). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 0–2 years of progressively responsible administrative experience supporting Human Resources or Talent Acquisition functions; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Exposure to or experience within a federal government contracting environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to support HR operations through accurate data management, coordination of processes, and adherence to established policies and regulatory requirements. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), with the ability to produce professional documentation, reports, and correspondence. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Experience using ATS platforms (iCIMS preferred) to support recruiting workflows, manage candidate records, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the hiring process. Ability to guide candidates through onboarding systems and processes, providing clear instructions and resolving routine issues to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. Demonstrated ability to provide responsive, professional support to internal teams and external candidates, building positive relationships and addressing inquiries effectively. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality, error-free work and understanding the importance of accuracy in HR documentation and processes. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally across a variety of audiences. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $52,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $60,000.00/Yr.
