Job description

Javvy is on a mission to set a new standard for café favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of café culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, we’re reimagining the drinks people buy every day — proving you don’t have to compromise between great taste and quality ingredients. What began as a cult-favorite DTC brand has rapidly scaled into an omnichannel business, now expanding into major retail while building a loyal community around better-for-you café favorites.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management, and procurement strategy across the full bill of materials for Javvy’s product portfolio — including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.

This role will own supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, capacity planning, and network optimization initiatives that directly impact product availability, operational efficiency, and company margin. You’ll play a critical role in building scalable sourcing strategies that support Javvy’s rapid growth across retail, ecommerce, and new product expansion.

This is a highly cross-functional role partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Planning, R&D, and Quality. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing and procurement experience, understands how sourcing decisions impact the broader business and P&L, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

This role will require travel approximately one week a month.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

STRATEGIC SOURCING & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

  • Manage sourcing and procurement activities across Javvy’s full bill of materials, including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships focused on quality, reliability, scalability, and long-term partnership
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to improve cost structure, operational flexibility, and supply resilience
  • Lead supplier negotiations including pricing, contracts, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and service levels
  • Partner with suppliers on capacity planning to support demand growth and supply continuity
  • Support network optimization initiatives across suppliers, co-manufacturers, and logistics partners

COST OPTIMIZATION & BUSINESS STRATEGY

  • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with company financial goals, margin targets, and operational priorities
  • Understand key business and P&L drivers and translate them into procurement and supplier strategies
  • Monitor commodity markets, tariffs, freight trends, and supply market dynamics impacting cost and availability
  • Drive cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across sourcing categories
  • Manage RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bid processes for strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Maintain pricing analysis, spend reporting, and supplier performance metrics to support forecasting and budgeting

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Partner closely with Operations and Planning teams to ensure supply continuity and appropriate inventory levels
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to qualify new ingredients, packaging components, finished goods suppliers, and product changes
  • Support innovation and new product launches through supplier coordination and sourcing execution
  • Ensure suppliers meet regulatory, food safety, and quality standards

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS

  • Improve procurement workflows, documentation, systems, and supplier management processes as the business scales
  • Build and maintain supplier scorecards and KPI tracking
  • Support procurement and inventory management systems, including NetSuite
  • Help establish scalable best practices around vendor management, sourcing operations, and procurement planning

YOU’RE A FIT IF…

  • 3-5+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or vendor management experience
  • Experience managing sourcing across multiple categories including raw materials, packaging, finished goods, or components
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation experience with a track record of driving cost savings and operational improvements
  • Experience with capacity planning, supply continuity, and supplier risk management
  • Strong understanding of business financials and P&L drivers, with the ability to translate financial goals into sourcing strategy
  • Experience working within high-growth companies across industries such as CPG, food & beverage, consumer products, tech, consumer electronics, supplements, or other fast-scaling brands
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience managing RFQs, contracts, supplier onboarding, and vendor performance
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools; NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong ownership and follow-through
