Project Manager – Semiconductor Construction

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing semiconductor construction and facility projects while ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing leadership throughout all phases of project execution.

The ideal candidate has experience managing semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial construction projects and possesses strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple semiconductor construction projects from project kickoff through final turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate daily activities between engineering, procurement, construction, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify schedule, cost, or quality risks.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and customers.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Support commissioning activities and project closeout documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial, or high-tech construction.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor facility infrastructure including process piping, utilities, cleanroom environments, and equipment installation.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Experience using project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting aggressive deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor fabrication facility expansion or new construction projects.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and owner turnover processes.
