Construction Project Manager (ELV) - Data Center
Job description
- Lead end-to-end project management of ELV scopes within data center construction or upgrade projects.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Prepare project documentation including progress reports, method statements, risk assessments, and handover packages.
- Oversee design reviews, system integration, and compliance for all ELV systems (BMS, CCTV, ACS, FAS, PA, structured cabling, monitoring systems).
- Ensure adherence to international and local data center standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ISO/IEC standards).
- Evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, and engineering designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure all ELV installations meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and acceptance tests (FAT, SAT, IST).
- Lead risk assessments and enforce compliance with HSE policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ELV-related project matters.
- Manage client expectations and provide technical guidance throughout project phases.
- Liaise with procurement teams for vendor evaluation, material selection, and technical approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in ELV project management, preferably within data center, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale ELV installations and system integrations.
