Food and Beverage Attendants (Banquets)
Job description
- Set up, service and pack down function spaces to the hotel's exacting standards, ensuring rooms are guest-ready ahead of every event
- Deliver attentive, efficient and courteous food and beverage service to guests throughout conferences, banquets and events
- Assist with the smooth coordination of event runsheets, liaising with the kitchen and events team to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation and stock levels across all function spaces and service areas
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience
- Work collaboratively with the wider banquets and events team to support a high-volume, fast-paced operation
- Adhere to hotel policies, WHS regulations and responsible service of alcohol requirements at all times
About You:
- Previous experience in hotel events, banquets or hospitality service is highly desirable
- Good understanding of banquets, functions and events service style
- Outstanding organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- A genuine passion for guest service and a desire to learn and grow
- Flexibility to work varied shifts across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is essential
