Job Purpose

The Actuarial Intern will support the distribution team in analyzing data, performing calculations, and assisting withprojects that drive distribution strategies. This role offers hands-on experience in applying actuarial principleswithin the insurance industry.You will collaborate with various external and internal stakeholders and support theregional team in different projects, contributing by leveraging actuarial technical knowledge to explain movementsin financial results to distribution and other non-technical teams. This is your chance to gain insights and valuable practical experience in the financial services and insuranceindustry, more specifically in the areas of actuarial analysis and distribution communication, all while working in aninternational environment with extensive regional exposure to various markets in Asia.

This is a 6-month internship starting Aug 2026.

What you do

You will ▪ Assisting in the data preparation and analysis of distribution activities. ▪ Analyse data on premium and profit. ▪ Work closely with Actuarial to understand profit movements. ▪ Participate in projects that enhance your understanding of insurance products and distribution. ▪ Manage internal stakeholders across the region. ▪ Any other duties as needed.

What you bring

▪ Analytical, curious, and structured problem‑solver; comfortable working with data.

▪ Excellent command of Excel and Visual Basic ▪ Self-driven and independent working style ▪ Effective communication skills with a team-oriented approach ▪ Attention to detail and problem solving skills. ▪ Clear written and verbal communicator; able to collaborate in a fast‑paced, regional environment

▪ Ai skills e.g. ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot desirable
