Job description
We are looking for an innovative AI/Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will build modern, AI-powered data applications and pipelines. You will work directly with Snowflake's native Large Language Models (LLMs), leveraging Snowflake Cortex AI to build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, AI agents, and natural language analytics tools. Key Responsibilities AI & LLM Integration Design, train, and deploy AI agents and workflows using Cortex Agents to automate multi-step data tasks. Semantic Modeling & NLP Set up and maintain semantic views to power Cortex Analyst, enabling business users to query structured data using natural language. Unstructured Data Search Implement and manage Cortex Search Services to enable hybrid semantic and keyword search over unstructured documents like PDFs. AI-Driven Data Pipelines Build automated ELT pipelines utilizing Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, User-Defined Functions (UDFs), and Stored Procedures. Governance & Security Ensure enterprise-grade security and governance by strictly configuring role-based access control (RBAC) for all Cortex AI extensions and services. Technical Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related engineering field. Snowflake Expertise Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, micro-partitioning, clustering, performance tuning, and cost optimization. Snowflake Cortex Hands-on experience building pipelines or integrations with Snowflake Cortex AI features (LLM functions, text generation, summarization). AI/ML Workloads Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and LLM orchestration. Programming Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting for system automation
