Egis Group
Principal Solution Architect - ERP Ecosystem
Job description
The Solution Architect is responsible for defining, ensuring consistency, and strengthening the robustness of IS architectures within the EARTH ecosystem scope (ERP, HCM, CRM, E-PROD “Project and Portfolio Management” and complementary SaaS solutions).
This is a high-visibility role for a transformational leader, offering the opportunity to work extensively with international IT and business high-level stakeholders. Working closely with the ERP Ecosystem Run (L2-L3) Delivery Manager and the Middleware integration leader, the Solution Architect will contribute directly to the stability, performance, and evolution of the EARTH solutions ecosystem, reducing structural incidents, and strengthening end-to-end business process fluidity & data quality.
Solution & Technical Architecture
- Own the target and existing architecture for the EARTH ecosystem, covering applications, interfaces, data flows and key dependencies across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, PPM and satellite solutions.
- Define, document and enforce architecture standards, integration patterns, API principles, data-flow models and technical design guardrails.
- Ensure end-to-end solution consistency, scalability, security, maintainability and alignment with enterprise architecture principles. Business–IT Alignment
- Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions, working closely with Business Analysts, BPOs, IT leadership and delivery teams.
- Support prioritization of technical choices based on business value, risk reduction, operational efficiency and long-term reusability.
- Reduce the gap between business expectations and delivery by clarifying solution options, impacts, constraints and arbitration points. Project Framing, Design and Build-to-Run
- Contribute to project framing and design phases, validating integration within the existing ecosystem and anticipating impacts on Run, supportability and performance.
- Embed operability, monitoring, documentation and support requirements from the design stage to secure smooth Build-to-Run transition. Challenge customization, duplication and technical complexity to limit technical debt and promote reusable core model capabilities.
Contribution to Run and Continuous Improvement
- Provide L3 expertise on major incidents and recurring structural issues, identifying root causes related to interfaces, data, dependencies or solution design.
- Drive actions to improve IS stability, performance, data quality and end-to-end business process fluidity.
- Promote automation, monitoring, knowledge capitalization and AI-assisted practices to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. Governance and Capitalization
- Contribute to sustainable architecture governance across a multi-application, multi-country and multi-stakeholder environment.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical decision-making forums and solution arbitration with Enterprise Architecture and IT leadership.
- Establish reliable documentation for architectures, interfaces, data flows, decision records and operational knowledge base content.
Essential Experience
- Significant experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect or Senior Functional/Technical Architect in complex enterprise application environments.
- Strong exposure to Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle HCM; experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, OCI and integration architecture is highly expected.
- Experience working across Build and Run contexts, including project framing, solution design, support transition, incident analysis and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to operate in international, matrixed and multicultural organizations with both IT and business stakeholders. Technical & Functional Expertise
- Deep understanding of ERP, HCM, CRM, PPM and complementary SaaS ecosystems, with the ability to assess dependencies, data flows and integration impacts.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM B2B is a plus; experience with Planview or comparable PPM solutions is appreciated.
- High ownership, curiosity, resilience and capacity to work in a changing environment where documentation and governance are still being strengthened.
- Strong command of architecture documentation, interface mapping, data-flow modelling, technical debt management and architecture governance practices.
- Good understanding of ITIL-oriented Run processes, especially incident, problem, change, release and knowledge management. Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex topics, identify root causes and propose pragmatic architecture options.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to align diverse stakeholders and explain technical matters to senior business and IT audiences.
- Balanced strategic and operational posture, combining long-term architecture vision with hands-on pragmatism in Run and delivery contexts.
