This Role
Oversees fund accounting, client delivery, and team performance while driving business growth, operational excellence, and talent development.
What You Will Do
- You'll manage private equity fund operations, including the review and completion of NAV, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and other complex accounting deliverables with a high degree of accuracy.
- You'll lead, develop, and monitor team performance by providing coaching, feedback, and training while ensuring balanced workload allocation and achievement of quality, timeliness, and productivity KPIs.
- You'll ensure compliance with regulatory, SSAE, and internal policies, manage risk, review processes, and serve as the primary escalation point for operational and client-related issues.
- You'll drive client delivery excellence by building strong stakeholder relationships, coordinating with cross-functional teams, resolving escalations, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and client requirements.
- You'll demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and organisational skills, optimising processes, managing workflows, supporting system transitions (e.g., Investran/Paxus), and contributing to continuous improvement and business growth.

About You
- You'll manage private equity fund accounting activities, including NAV, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and other complex client deliverables while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- You'll lead and develop teams, oversee performance, provide coaching and feedback, conduct appraisals, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure KPI, SLA, and client service objectives are achieved.
- You'll review and oversee financial reporting, working papers, fund accounting processes, and operational deliverables while driving quality, risk management, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
- You hold a degree in Accounting or a related business discipline with 8+ years of accounting experience, 4+ years of supervisory experience, and strong expertise in Ind AS, IFRS, and US/UK/Lux GAAP.
- You possess experience in fund accounting (preferably private equity), proficiency in Investran/Paxus, advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office, strong communication skills in English and an additional language, and preferably hold a CPA/ACCA qualification with exposure to financial services, shared services, or multinational environments.
