Sr. Account Executive (Pro AV Production & Staging)
Job description
Accountabilities
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing new business opportunities.
- Develop and grow relationships with both new and existing clients to generate long-term revenue and strengthen account portfolios.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to design tailored technical production proposals that meet client expectations.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and customer records using CRM platforms while ensuring consistent reporting.
- Represent the organization at client meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand visibility and business opportunities.
- Travel regularly to support client engagements, event planning, and onsite relationship management as required.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of successful full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally within Pro AV rental, live events, production, staging, or technical event services.
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets while managing a healthy sales pipeline.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with a consultative sales approach.
- Experience selling technical solutions and collaborating effectively with production, operations, or technical delivery teams.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or comparable sales management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 50% for client meetings and live events.
- Preferred experience working with corporate meeting planners, event producers, associations, convention organizers, or large enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with AV production technologies and terminology, including LED walls, lighting, rigging, staging, and broadcast solutions, is highly desirable.
