Make your work matter where it’s needed most
Join Each’s Youth Outreach team, supporting young people aged 10–25 to connect with the right services at the right time. Working within the Child, Youth and Family Wellbeing team, you’ll provide a safe, accessible entry point into support across the local community.

Your role, your impact
You’ll play a vital role in supporting young people to navigate challenges, strengthen connections, and access the supports they need to thrive. Through outreach and early intervention, you’ll meet young people where they are—building trust, offering practical support, and helping create meaningful pathways forward.

  • Deliver outreach services – Engage young people through community-based support, triage, and short-term intervention
  • Assess needs holistically – Use a person-centred approach to understand needs and guide next steps
  • Build strong partnerships – Collaborate with schools, services, and community organisations
  • Coordinate referrals – Facilitate warm referrals and connect young people to ongoing supports
  • Plan group programs – Design and deliver programs based on local youth needs
  • Maintain documentation – Record accurate, timely case notes and data
  • Work flexibly – Engage across outreach settings, including occasional weekend work

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience supporting young people – At least 2 years’ experience, including outreach as a core practice approach
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to build trust and engage diverse communities
  • Stakeholder collaboration – Experience working with schools, services and community partners
  • Assessment and referral capability – Confidence in triage, brief intervention and connecting young people to appropriate supports
  • Independent and team capability – Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively
  • Understanding of youth challenges – Awareness of social, health, and wellbeing factors impacting young people
  • Adaptable approach – Confidence working in flexible, community-based environments
  • Relevant qualifications – Bachelor of Social Work or Qualification in Youth Work or a related field
  • First Aid certification – Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Driver’s licence and vehicle access – Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

What will make you stand out

  • Specialist knowledge – Training or education in mental health, dual diagnosis or family therapy

What’s in it for you
At Each you’ll be supported to be your best. We provide:

  • Diversity & belonging – We value all backgrounds, abilities, and identities and are committed to cultural safety
  • Supportive & inclusive culture – Work with colleagues and leaders who genuinely care
  • Boost your take-home pay – Salary packaging up to $15,900 + $2,650 meals & entertainment
  • Professional development – Access mentoring, supervision, and learning pathways
  • Free, confidential support – Our Employee Assistance Program is available for you and your family.
  • Fitness Passport – discounted access to hundreds of gyms, pools and fitness facilities nationwide
