This position leads and manages a variety of projects , programs, and initiatives at the systems level with V illage-wide impact for the Nutrition Services department. This Teammate directly manages a team of Nutrition Services Program Managers . Serves as a coach, resource, and mentor to other Dietitians on the team and in the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Leads and serves as an integral member of the N utrition and MBD Center of Excellence.
Leads and p ar ticipate s in creation and implementation of Nutrition Services department goals.
Manage s and oversee s assigned projects with significant accountability; meet s expectations to “get stuff done”.
Provide s support to Group Lead and Divisional Lead Dietitians .
Participate s in professional development activities for dietitian leaders.
P articipates in updating training progra m , competency assessment and new-hire dietitian tracking tools
Participates on a team to coordinate all aspects of the village-wide Dietitian Connection meeting s ; conduct s training sessions for Dietitian Leaders and other meeting presenters.
Collaborates with other Village departments to ensure nutrition information is current and accurate; provides review/revisions to a variety of educational material/meeting content used village-wide.
Promotes modality education and resource sharing. Develops content for national dietitian calls.
Leverages clinical data and reporting dashboards to monitor Nutrition Services-related program efficacy, and drive continuous improvement in key clinical metrics,
Oversees various nutrition-services workgroups to support clinical initiatives, strategy, and resource enhancements.
Aligns Nutrition Services strategy with the Village’s population health priorities. Leads high-impact clinical programs designed to directly support enterprise goals .
Works with Team Mercury on Nutrition Services Village-level communications
Crafts and provides submissions to Mercury for review, as appropriate
Participates on Nutrition Services Core Team, maintaining close communication and collaboration with Clinical and Field Leadership.
Represent s Nutrition Services department at national meetings or on calls as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or similar area required
Master’s degree and/or Certified Specialist, Renal designation preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in a dietitian leadership position
Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Proficient at all Dietitian I, Dietitian II and Dietitian III duties
State licensure or certification required if licensure or certification is available in the state where the facility is located.
Scheduling flexibility and ability to travel required
Current driver’s license in state of residence and insurable driving record required
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel and Outlook as well as proficiency with DaVita specific applications

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
