Jira Administrator

Join a global life science and biotechnology company based in Wrocław. As a Jira Administrator, you will support key collaboration and delivery tools used across international teams, ensuring they are stable, well‑configured and continuously improved. You will focus mainly on Jira, Confluence and Polarion, as well as license and access management for a range of business and IT applications, including tools used in AI and DevOps.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and enhance Jira, Confluence and Polarion environments.
• Configure projects, workflows, permission schemes, forms and automation rules.
• Organize and manage spaces and documentation repositories for clear, accessible information.
• Provide day-to-day user support and promote best practices for effective tool usage.
• Gather requirements from teams and implement improvements that support productivity and collaboration.
• Identify and implement automation for repetitive or manual tasks.
• Manage software licenses for business and IT applications, including AI, DevOps and CI/CD tools.
• Handle user access and licensing processes, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitor license utilization and propose optimization opportunities.
• Support the implementation and rollout of new tools and services.
• Create and maintain administrative and user documentation.

Ideal candidate profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience administering Jira.
• Experience managing users, groups, roles and permissions.
• Understanding of onboarding and offboarding processes for users and access.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your area.
• Very good English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with Polarion ALM.
• Experience in software license management.Familiarity with AI‑related tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Foundry, Claude).
• Knowledge of DevOps / CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with workflow automation and process improvements.
• Basic skills in scripting, integrations or application automation.

• Salary: 130 PLN/h
• Work model: Hybrid, Wrocław
