Job description
The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified talent across professional, technical, manufacturing, and leadership positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies that support organizational growth and workforce planning initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who understands the importance of finding the right talent, creating a positive candidate experience, and partnering with leaders throughout the hiring process.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval through onboarding
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, direct outreach, and other recruiting channels
- Develop talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions
- Screen applicants and conduct interviews to assess qualifications and alignment
- Coordinate interview schedules and maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers
- Facilitate offer creation and negotiation processes
- Provide hiring managers with candidate assessments, recommendations, and recruiting insights
- Advise managers on recruiting best practices and market conditions
- Track recruiting metrics and hiring progress
- Support employer branding initiatives, career fairs, and recruiting events while promoting Lanco's culture and employment value proposition
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, technical, engineering, or professional positions
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools
- Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through throughout the recruiting process
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, and attention to detail skills
- Experience supporting a multi-site, multi-business unit organization preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Work Environment
Office-based role with controlled conditions and moderate noise. Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
Compensation/Benefits
We offer a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement. The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000, with final compensation based on experience, education, skills, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
