HR Assistant/ Officer – Payroll and Visa

Work Arrangement
- On-site presence required during the initial three months (subject to performance).
- Hybrid work model thereafter, combining remote work with occasional in-office collaboration.
- Opportunities to gain exposure to regional engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including salary calculations, overtime, statutory deductions, and MPF administration.
- Assist with Employer's Return (IR56 forms) preparation and related payroll matters.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy within the payroll system.
- Respond to payroll-related enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Visa Administration
- Support employment visa applications, renewals, and related immigration matters.
- Prepare and coordinate the required documentation for visa submissions.
- Liaise with the Hong Kong Immigration Department and external parties where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong immigration requirements and timelines.
HR & Administrative Support
- Maintain employee records and monitor payroll and visa status.
- Prepare payroll, visa, and HR-related reports and documentation.
- Support onboarding and other HR administrative activities.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in payroll and employment visa administration.
- Experience with Hong Kong payroll and HR practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
- Good understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, payroll processing, MPF, and Employer's Return requirements.
- Knowledge of Hong Kong employment visa and immigration procedures.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
