M22 - Product Manager
Job description
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the technical product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Identify product opportunities and develop strategies based on user needs and technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish product vision, objectives, and success metrics.
Technical Leadership
- Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and support architecture decisions.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed features and recommend alternatives where necessary.
- Balance technical debt with new feature development.
- Guide technical decision-making with consideration for scalability, performance, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
Product Development
- Develop detailed technical specifications, requirements, and user stories.
- Prioritise the product backlog based on business value, user impact, and technical constraints.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and grooming sessions.
- Manage dependencies across multiple technical workstreams.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and software engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Work with business process owners and relevant stakeholders to gather, analyse, and validate business and technical requirements.
Data & Analytics
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Use data and analytics to support product decisions and continuous improvement.
- Monitor technical metrics, system performance, and product effectiveness.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience in software development projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile environments and with cloud platforms.
- Strong ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience developing business cases and user stories.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and participate in stakeholder requirements discussions.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Good knowledge of web, mobile, and cloud technologies, including their impact on solution design and technical feasibility.
