Essential Duties / Essential Job Functions
- Functions as general office support in the clinical area and provides good customer service to all customers of ONE Health Systems, Inc.
- Responsible for ensuring that patient referrals and all related paperwork, data and tracking are completed on daily basis.
- Handles all phone calls appropriately in a timely manner.
- Appropriately records phone messages and ensures that the messages are tasked to the correct Provider.
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant laboratory, testing results, office notes and patient correspondence are forwarded to Referral organization in a timely manner. .
- Assists with monitoring tracking systems to ensure that results are received. IE: Pap, lab and referral.
- Assists front desk with missed appointments that need to be rescheduled and documents in the patients electronic health record.
- Assists other departments such as front desk when needed.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Patient check-in/out
- Completing new patient profiles
- Insurance information verification
- Sliding fee scale competency
- Healthcare experience desired
- NextGen experience desired
- CPR or ability to obtain
Physical Requirements
- Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
- Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction
- Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard
- Communication skills using the spoken word
- Ability to see within normal parameters and hear within normal range
- Ability to move about
