Part of AIM Aviation, private transport division of American Iron & Metal, we are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our team in a unique dual-capacity position. As our Helicopter Pilot & Driver for Executive team/Owners, you will serve as the trusted operator of our Airbus AS350 B3 (AStar) throughout the flight season — covering a radius of 400 to 500 km around Montréal — and as a reliable, discreet chauffeur for our senior leadership team for the remainder of the year.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced pilot who values flexibility, discretion, and a long-term professional partnership with a dynamic, engaged company.

Key Responsibilities

Helicopter Operations — Estimated from May to October

  • Co-pilot alongside the company owner, fostering a collaborative and professional flight environment
  • Provide in-flight mentorship and training to pilots building flight hours
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, safety checks, and coordinate maintenance as required
  • File flight plans, monitor weather conditions, and manage all flight documentation in full compliance with Transport Canada regulations
  • Remain on-call 7 days a week throughout the summer season, with flexibility for short-notice departures
  • Maintain currency of all licenses, ratings, and medical certifications at all times

Executive Driver — Estimated from November to April

  • Provide professional and discreet ground transportation for executive and ownership
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in full compliance with Quebec traffic regulations
  • Manage scheduling, route planning, and logistics for executive travel needs
  • Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and operational readiness of all assigned company vehicles
  • Represent the company with the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Required

  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter (CPL-H) or ATPL-H
  • Extensive experience on the Airbus AS350 B3 (AStar) — type rating required
  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Minimum experience requirements are; 3,000 hours total helicopter time of which 1,500 hours are on turbine helicopters, and 100 hours on make and model and no losses
  • Proven experience as pilot-in-command and/or co-pilot for executive or charter operations
  • Demonstrated ability to provide flight training and mentoring to lower-hour pilots
  • Valid Québec driver's license (Class 5 minimum) with a clean driving record
  • Fluent in English (working language); French is a strong asset

Preferred

  • IFR rating or instrument flight experience
  • Experience with cross-country navigation in Québec and Eastern Canada airspace
  • Prior experience in a high-discretion, executive-facing or VIP role
  • Familiarity with Montréal-area airspace, aerodromes, and regional geography within a 500 km range

Your Profile & Skills

You are a seasoned aviation professional who brings exceptional judgment, composure under pressure, and an unwavering commitment to safety. You move seamlessly between the cockpit and the road, and you take pride in being a trusted, long-term partner to an executive team.

  • Independent and self-directed — you manage your schedule and responsibilities with confidence and minimal oversight
  • Discreet and trustworthy — you handle sensitive information and executive movements with absolute professionalism
  • Strong communicator — equally at ease with senior leadership, clients, co-pilots, and aviation authorities
  • Flexible and available — you embrace the on-call nature of the summer season and adapt readily to changing plans
  • Safety-first — you never compromise on protocols, regardless of external pressure or schedule demands

What we offer!

  • A competitive wage, vacation, benefits and a RRSP matching program
  • Annual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependents
  • An engaging, entrepreneurial company with close-knit leadership!

Why This Role?

You will work alongside engaged leaders and ownership in an environment where trust, professionalism, safety and long-term relationships are at the heart of our success.
