Overview
Support executive leadership through high-level coordination, organization, and communication in a fast-paced compliance and privacy environment.
💻 Work Style: Onsite 📍 Location: Gainesville, FL 🕒 FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) 🗓️ Schedule: Day Shift
Provides advanced administrative and professional support to the Vice President of Privacy and Compliance. Requires a high level of organizational expertise, discretion, and in-depth knowledge of UF Health operations, executive offices, and reporting departments.
Exercises independent judgment in communicating with UF Health executives, Health Science Center leadership, physicians, and staff. Plans, initiates, and executes complex administrative activities while applying problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities.
Maintains strong working relationships with administrators, physicians, and hospital leaders, managing confidential and sensitive information across multiple internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and community partners.
Works with minimal supervision, independently managing responsibilities from initiation through completion while providing regular updates to the VP on project status, priorities, and outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Ten (10) years of progressively responsible, advanced secretarial and administrative experience, including independent project and task management, is required.
Skills and Competencies
Advanced document and contract preparation skills
Independent use of personal computer applications, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated database management skills supported by technical training and/or additional relevant experience
Ability to type a minimum of 55 CWPM
Education: An Associate’s degree may be substituted for a portion of the required experience.
