Credit Review AR Analyst
Job description
About the role Join TD SYNNEX’s Credit team as a Credit Review & AR Analyst focused on credit risk analysis for a large, fast-paced technology distribution organization. This role blends financial analysis with relationship management: you’ll evaluate customer creditworthiness, set and monitor credit limits and terms, review sales orders for release, and work closely with sales, customers, and cross-functional teams to protect revenue while controlling credit risk. This is a highly dynamic role that rewards strong communication, analytical curiosity, and a desire to grow into senior credit roles.
What You'll Do
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts (typical portfolio size ~15–25 accounts) and complete scheduled credit reviews on a monthly cadence to maintain accurate credit limits and controls.
Perform financial statement analysis and interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow information; perform deeper reviews for credit requests > $50K.
Respond rapidly to urgent or “rush” credit requests tied to high-value sales opportunities, balancing speed and risk mitigation.
Review and release sales orders within established credit guidelines; escalate or recommend holds when appropriate.
Negotiate credit remedies and risk controls (e.g., collateral, Personal Guarantees, PMSI, revised terms) with customers and recommend solutions to senior credit stakeholders.
Communicate professionally with sales teams, customers, TD SYNNEX Capital, FP&A, logistics, and other internal partners to gather information, validate forecasts, and resolve discrepancies.
Document credit decisions and underlying rationale clearly and promptly in company systems to ensure auditability and consistent portfolio management.
Use available tools (credit platforms, Excel exports, and AI-enabled tools) to analyze account data; heavy Excel modeling is not required but basic spreadsheet skills are necessary.
Contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives as assigned; work both autonomously and collaboratively on projects that increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies, controls, and compliance expectations; be prepared for occasional on-call or nonstandard hours as business needs dictate.
What success looks like
Timely completion of portfolio reviews and accurate, well-documented credit decisions.
Effective, diplomatic communication with sales and customers that enables revenue while protecting the balance sheet.
Demonstrated growth in handling increasingly complex credit assessments and meaningful contributions to process improvements.
What We're Looking for: Required
1–3 years relevant experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, finance, or related roles.
Basic financial statement analysis skills and comfort working with accounting and finance terminology.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact professionally across teams and with customers.
Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and willingness to learn internal credit/AR systems and AI-assisted tools.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field — or equivalent years of relevant experience.
Experience managing customer portfolios, handling credit requests > $50K, or negotiating credit terms and security.
Working conditions & schedule
Hybrid role based in Clearwater, FL (generally three days per week on-site Tues-Thurs.)
May require shift flexibility, occasional overtime, or on-call availability depending on business needs.
Professional office environment with collaborative team structure and mentorship.
