We at Coforge are hiring Position (22307) with the following skill set.
We are seeking a Junior/Mid Cloud Engineer with experience in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to join our Cloud Engineering team. This role is ideal for an engineer with a solid technical foundation, a passion for cloud technologies, and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS, a basic software development background (preferably in Java), and an interest in DevOps practices. Experience with Jenkins and Groovy is a plus, but not required—we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and can quickly adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Support the implementation and management of cloud solutions in AWS.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
- Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments.
- Participate in infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and operational support.
- Document infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and best practices.
- Continuously learn and adopt new cloud and DevOps technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
- Basic software development experience with Java.
- Familiarity with Groovy or the ability and willingness to learn and work with Groovy in a short period of time.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and basic scripting.
- Experience using Git and version control workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and automation practices.
- AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or similar) are a plus.
