Job description
We're looking for a Senior Engineer Quality Management Process to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management processes in our Lab operations
- Conduct comprehensive process analysis and root cause analysis to identify deviations, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics in Lab to measure process effectiveness and drive data-driven decision-making
- Develop and execute corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to address quality issues and non-conformances
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and certifications
- Gauge management and calibration to support manufacturing.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on quality management best practices and process improvements
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality procedures, work instructions, and process maps
- Present findings, recommendations, and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- 2+ years of professional experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or quality management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation
- Basic understanding of quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent)
- Elementary Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and statistical analysis software
- Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
Proficient in quality management methods, quality management system, norms and problem solving methods like 14-Q-Basics, FMEA, 4M etc.
Competent knowledge in Internal (BBM; CDQs) and external standards (IATF; ISO; VDA)
Advanced skill in MS Excel, Power Point and Power BI. Basic administrative skills. Proficient communication and presentation skills.
