About the Role
The Working Student (m/f/d), CLC South, will support the day-to-day financial, administrative, and governance operations of the Italian entity, based in Rome. Working closely with the CLC South team, Headquarters, and external service providers, the role will contribute to maintaining accurate documentation, supporting financial processes, coordinating administrative activities, and ensuring smooth and compliant operations. This position offers hands-on experience in finance, administration, governance, and EU-funded project support within an international and dynamic organisation.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Support financial administration, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and documentation management.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems for financial, administrative, and governance documents.
Assist with monthly financial activities, reporting, and audit preparation.
Support administrative and governance activities, including meeting coordination and stakeholder communications.
Liaise with external service providers such as accountants, payroll providers, banks, and auditors.
Assist with compliance-related documentation and statutory reporting requirements.
Support administrative and financial activities related to EU-funded projects and public funding programmes.
Collaborate with colleagues across CLC South and Headquarters to ensure the timely execution of operational tasks.
Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme at a university in Rome, Italy.
Studies in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Law , or a related field.
Expected to remain enrolled for at least 1.5–2 years from the start date.
Available to work from the Rome office at least 1–2 days per week .
Native or near-native proficiency in Italian .
Business proficiency in English , both written and spoken.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in an administrative, financial, accounting, or project support role through internships, student jobs, or university projects.
