Latitudes, on Sunset Key, is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. The Restaurant Supervisor will supervise the overall operations of the restaurant.This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Ensures the highest quality product reaches our guest and meets specifications.
- Conducts daily shift meetings.
- Assists in training new staff members within their department.
- Assists management with motivating, developing, coaching and counseling staff members to ensure the proper level of service is being provided to guests.
- Visits all tables during every guest's meal to ensure guest satisfaction and consistent customer service.
- Notifies management of low inventory and recommends new inventory.
- Ensures a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation and training.
- Assists management with opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to Staff Members, and including overseeing dining room set up and conducting a walk-through of venue.
- Ensures that all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
- Maintains high-level of knowledge regarding the company's products and happenings, and communicates properly to guests; establishes rapport with all guests through name recognition.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management and moves with a sense of urgency.
- Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
- Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook.
- Directly reports to the managers of Latitudes
- Assists with the following FOH operations: bussing, hosting, and bar backing as directed by manager on duty
- Communicates issues that arise during service directly and specifically to the manager on duty
- Initiates friendly interactions with tables and reports any food and/or beverage requests to server
- Distributes and communicates information for each shift about special occasions, prix fixe menus, events, and VIP guests
- Oversees general staff presence on floor and enforces policies set by management such as dress code, cleanliness of restaurant, and guest interaction
- Immediately report all customer and staff requests, concerns, and complaints to manager on duty, who will decide the next course of action
- Answer customer calls and emails, plan large parties (14+ guests) in coordination with managers and communicate shift notes to managers with documentation
- Communicate concierge requests to managers, including requests for reservations which will be made following the standards set by Latitudes management
- Listen to and respond to all voicemails and send appropriate information to all managers
- Maintain professional, respectful and approachable floor presence and politely check in with tables, communicating requests for food and/or beverage service to the assigned server
- Communicate with food runners or expo professional about all kitchen-related duties
- Assist hosts with duties including seating assignments, cleaning menus, and seating tables.
- Assist staff with cleaning side stations and keep personal items out of view and in a safe place
- Provide hospitable service during seating, which involves checking with a manager before switching seating assignments.
- Understand all POS systems and understand and assist in all opening and closing duties as instructed by the on-duty manager
- Ensure that all employees arrive on time and communicate scheduling conflicts to management team
Qualifications
- High school degree or GED required.
- Health permit/food safety and Alcohol Awareness.
- One to two years restaurant in a high volume Food and Beverage environment.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Must be able to work long hours, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
