Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium Work Model: Hybrid Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6 Months
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer with 8–10 years of experience to join a project in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in X++ development, enterprise ERP solutions, integrations, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and solution architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop custom business logic, workflows, forms, reports, batch jobs, services, and data entities.
- Build upgrade-friendly solutions using the extension model, Chain of Command, and event handlers.
- Design and support integrations using OData, REST APIs, Dataverse, Dual-write, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Power Platform.
- Develop and maintain data entities and APIs for reporting, integrations, and data migration.
- Support asynchronous processing, batch framework, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Participate in solution design, fit-gap analysis, impact assessments, and technical estimations.
- Manage source control, deployments, and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Support testing, deployments, production support, data migration, and system optimization.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of ERP and Microsoft Dynamics development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Advanced X++ development skills.
- Experience developing extensions, customizations, workflows, services, and data entities.
- Strong knowledge of OData, REST APIs, Dataverse, Dual-write, and DMF.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), CI/CD, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations business processes.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
