How the Interview Coach works

A real conversation, not a quiz. You speak your answers, the interviewer follows up, and you learn what to sharpen.

  1. 1

    Pick a scenario

Start with a quick self-introduction, get questioned on your resume, or rehearse for a job you are tracking in Mokaru.

  2. 2

    Answer out loud

The interviewer listens while you talk, gives you room to think, and asks follow-up questions the way a recruiter would.

  3. 3

Get a tip on every answer

Right under each answer you see what worked and what to improve next time. Every session is saved, so you can review it later.

Four ways to practice

Short, focused sessions you can fit in before any interview.

1 min

Quick Introduction

Practice your elevator pitch and the classic "tell me about yourself".

3 min

Work Chat

A relaxed conversation about your work and career, to warm up and find your words.

3 min

Resume Interview

A professional interview built around your own resume: your roles, results and choices.

3 min

Experience Match

Explain how your experience fits a specific job you are tracking, using its job description.

What the coach looks at

Every tip is about something you actually said, and it tells you what to do next time. When an answer is strong, it says so.

Relevance
Did you answer the question that was asked? Too much backstory or drifting off-topic is the most common interview mistake.
Structure
Situation, action, result: does your answer show what you did and what came of it, without running on for minutes?
Specificity
Real examples, numbers and scope instead of claims like "I'm a hard worker" that nothing backs up.
Confidence
Too much hedging, or underselling what you achieved. Normal pauses and the odd "um" are fine.
Professionalism
Casual phrases or negative words about a former employer, with a better way to say the same thing.
