Job description
- Culinary Excellence – Master Japanese cooking techniques, knife skills, and Teppan grill artistry
- Prepare premium dishes with precision, flair, and fine‑dining presentation standards
- Work with high‑quality ingredients: seafood, meats, and seasonal produce
- Guest Experience – Deliver interactive cooking performances at the Teppan table
- Engage guests with storytelling, cultural insights, and personalized service
- Maintain a welcoming, professional demeanor to create memorable dining moments
- Proven experience in high‑end restaurants or hotels required
- Strong communication and presentation skills — blending culinary mastery with performance
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in Teppanyaki or Asian cuisine.
- Proven experience in a live cooking/show cooking environment.
- Strong knife skills and grilling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Good English communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
- Professional appearance and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to customer service.
- Bachelor's Degree or culinary qualification (preferred).
- Minimum one year experience as Chef de Partie in hotels or restaurants (preferred).
