- Demonstrates excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills for a diverse population.
- Educates, validates, and ensures accountability of all Patient experience tactics.
- Participates and ensures that rounding for outcomes occur daily.
- Manages and supervises day-to-day operations with the help of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and designated staff.
- Liaises with all divisions hospital-wide and regionally.
- Performs duties in a timely manner and provides updates if delays occur.
- Adheres to standards for dress and professional appearance.
- Collaborates with staff and peers to create optimal synergy and outcomes.
- Participates in behavioral-based interviewing for all new hires.
- Participates in 30, 60, and 90-day evaluations of new staff, and assists in completion of meaningful evaluations of existing staff.
- Communicates with courtesy when interacting with internal or external customers—in person or on the telephone.
- Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.

Work Experience:
- 3+ years acute care rt experience [Required]
Additional Information:
- NBRC credentials must be maintained as a condition of continued role eligibility.
- All States: require NBRC for new hires, and incumbents.
- Florida Exception: legacy incumbents may continue working and may transfer within Florida without a NBRC active credential, subject to an approved, time-limited transition period.
Licenses and Certifications:
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required]
- Active NBRC Credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Preferred]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Preferred]
- NBRC Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialty (RRT-NPS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
